Burger Fuel Customs Street Review

Two weeks ago, my Mum and I happened to be walking past the Burger Fuel on Customs Street, we didn’t go in but both thought it would be nice to try as we had both nether been to one before, so last week we decided to go there for lunch. I have to say that the service here was great, the food was absolutely amazing and really filling and so was the atmosphere even though when we got there not many people were there. Both of us agreed that we would come back for lunch at some point in the future.

I have to say that the food at Burger Fuel was absolutely amazing, both of us had the C N Cheese Burger (see above for some photos that I took of it), not only did it taste amazing (I said to my Mum that it was one of the nicest burgers that I have ever had) but it was also really filling as well, to the point where you could just have the burger for lunch and you would not need anything else afterwards, if you love Cheese then this is definitely the burger for you because it does have lots of Cheese but not so much that it overpowers the rest of the flavours in the burger.

We both agreed that the next time we go back to Burger Fuel we would try a different burger because there are quite a few to choose from including vegetarian options, chicken burgers, smaller burgers they call Gourmet Minis, four different sides, different sauces, lots of drinks and for those with kids a kid’s meal. There is enough on the menu that you could go back multiple times and not get bored with what you are eating, so I would recommend trying something different each time you go.

The Atmosphere of Burger Fuel Customs Street was absolutely amazing as well even though when we got there not many people were there. There was music playing which was nice and not too loud which was good because some places have it so loud that you find it hard to hear the other person talking, there were tables and chairs (the chairs were quite comfortable to sit on) along the side of the place leading up to where the counter was at the end. And on the tables the napkin holders looked like they might have once been old Milo tins or other similar ones done up in the Burger Fuel colours which I thought was a nice touch. While it was quiet when my Mum and I arrived (we got there around 11:30 to 11:40) I noticed that not long after twelve the place was close to being full, so I would recommend to people going here for lunch to take an earlier lunch break if you can so you can have your pick of the chairs and tables.

The service here was great, my Mum and I had just walked in and started looking at the menu when one of the staff members came up to us and asked if we had been to Burger Fuel before, we said no and so they proceeded to go through the menu explaining all of the different items on there. I thought this was really nice and something that I could not remember seeing at any other similar places that I had been too before.

This was just of the examples of good service another one I saw while my Mum and I were eating our burgers. A few tables away from us another person was sitting and eating their lunch and had ordered something else and a staff member came in told them that it would be a bit longer, I thought this was good service as well because I have been to quite a few places where they give no explanation of why your order is taking a while. The service here is one of the reasons that my Mum and I would go back here and one of the reasons that I would rate Burger Fuel Customs Street highly.

If I had to rate Burger Fuel Customs Street I would give it an 8 out of 10 because along with the food, service and atmosphere being good my overall experience here was also good and I honestly can’t think of any criticism of this particular Burger Fuel. My Mum and I would definitely go back here and I would highly recommend it to other people looking for a great place to have lunch or dinner.
