Cinta Malaysian Review
On Tuesday last
week my Mum and I came across four new places to have lunch, one of them was
Cinta Malaysian which looked like it would be quite interesting to have lunch
there. A week later that is exactly what we did and I have to say it was really
enjoyable, the food was quite good (not the cheapest but compared to what you
pay at McDonald’s and Burger King to get something half descent it is much
better value for money and a lot nicer), the atmosphere despite being there
before the lunch rush was good and so was the service.
The menu at Cinta
Malaysian seemed quite good, there was quite a few things to choose from and
they event had some lunch specials advertised (which is something that I want
to try next time I go there). I don’t remember the exact name of what my Mum
got but as far as I can remember it was a chicken curry with roti which looked
really nice and tasted good, I got BBQ Pork Fried Rice which like what my Mum
got looked really good and tasted really good as well. Not only that the
portion size was really good as well, by the time I had finished it I was full.
That being said both my Mum and I would try something else off the menu if we
were to go back and have lunch again, and something I would like to try is
ordering to go and then eating it somewhere outside when the weather is good.
The
atmosphere at Cinta Malaysian was good, walking in there was a brick wall to
the left (whether this is real brick or not I can’t say) the counter straight
ahead and there was a small seating area to the right. Because we were having
an early lunch there was initially just the staff working at the place and my
Mum and I but this changed as more people started coming in around twelve,
after which the atmosphere improved and the seating area filled up to the point
where there wasn’t anywhere for newcomers to sit and have lunch inside. If you
do manage do get a seat inside like we did I would advise wearing some sort of
jacket or something similar to keep yourself warmer as its not cold in Cinta
Malaysian but not the warmest place either.
The service at
Cinta Malaysian was good, the person working at the counter was friendly both
when my Mum ordered and when our food was brought to where we were sitting, as
well as this we did not have to wait long at all for our food though this may
have been due to us being the only customers in there before the lunch rush
around mid-day. I would guess though I can’t be sure that if you were to go closer
to mid-day when it seems that people generally have their lunch, you might have
to wait a bit longer. Overall the service is good and is part of the reason I
would go back.
If I had to rate
Cinta Malaysian I would give it a 7 out of 10 because overall the food was
good, the atmosphere was good and so was the service. My Mum and I would both
go back there for lunch though we would both try something else from the menu.
If you were going to go there, I would recommend going early or getting your
lunch to go as it fills up the closer it gets to the mid-day lunch rush.
