Café Greco Review

Image
Earlier this week my Mum and I had lunch at Café Greco and it was really enjoyable. My first impression of this place the first time I saw it the week before was that it was just your usual café you would expect to find in a city but a week later having lunch there my impression of this café changed in a good way, they had a better food selection than I had thought previously and the food itself was really good too, the atmosphere was really good as well and the service was good too. As the name of this place implies this is a café and therefore, they have the usual type of food you would expect from such a place like paninis and pies to name a few, they also had a menu on the wall that you could order more food from. What was a little different about this place was that it had a selection of hot food of the type you can get at places like Magic Wok and other similar places, though I did not try any of the food from this I thought it was a good point of difference between ...

My Review of MIB International (2019)

Image
This review contains some spoilers for MIB International When I first saw the trailer for this film it was on YouTube so I initially thought that maybe it was a mashup of other films or a fan made trailer, as it turned out it wasn’t so I was quite excited about going to see it. Before I went to see the film I read that some reviews of the film were bad and heard from people that had already seen it that it wasn’t the best film, I went and saw it anyway because for me I want to be entertained so as long as I find it entertaining I don’t mind if it is not a great film. MIB International was one of those films for me. I thought the main characters in this film Agent H (Chris Hemsworth), Agent M (Tessa Thompson), High T (Liam Neeson) and Agent O (Emma Thompson) were quite good and very likable, and the actors and actresses who played them did a good enough job that if a sequel is ever done they should be included in it. More specifically Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson had a go...

My Review of Texas Hold’Em (Edited by George R. R. Martin)

Image
A few weeks ago, I was in the library looking for a book to read and picked Texas Hold’Em up because I had previously read another book in the Wild Card series titled Low Chicago which I really enjoyed reading and I had seen this one quite a few times in stores. I only ended up reading the first six pages at the time but I later got it out from the library and have since read the entire thing, and I have to say that this is a genuinely good book and a very enjoyable book to read. While I have read another book in the same series this book featured a completely different set of characters so it was quite interesting to read because it had characters that I loved and a few that I loved to hate. One of the characters I liked the most was Adesina who despite having no chapters in the book told from her point of view still had some good moments. Another character that I liked was LoriAnne from Louisiana who as it turned out was an Ace whose power was control over mosquitos and the...

My Review of Fire and Blood: A History of the Targaryen Kings from Aegon the Conqueror to Aegon III

When I first saw this book in stores and read what it was about, I was excited and thought maybe I should buy it but instead I ended up getting it from my local library. I am glad that I did because while I am somewhat of a fan of Game of Thrones (I have read some of the books and watched three episodes of the final season of the tv show) and I love history even if it is fictional I found this book to be average, some bits of it were good and enjoyable to read others not so much. Some of the things that I liked about the book was that it provided more information about the history of the Game of Thrones world and how it got to the point where the books begin, I especially liked this because quite often when reading a book it will give a little bit of backstory and not much else which   usually leaves me wanting to find out more. Another thing I liked about this book and something I think the author George R. R. Martin did well was that it was written as if it ...
